The St Annes District Club Ltd

Why should you become a member?

We have vacancies for new members over the age of 18 and feel sure that you would appreciate the unique combination of atmosphere and surroundings that we are able to provide and of which you are able to take advantage at any time of the day. The emphasis is overwhelmingly on friendship and informality. Our bar prices are considerably cheaper than pubs; bowling is free of charge; snooker will cost you only 50p per hour for the lights; or you can simply relax in comfort (no music, jeans or trainers here although smart casual wear is permitted at all times). We hold regular bowls and snooker competitions throughout the year with coveted prizes and trophies (one of which is the Les Dawson Trophy) which are presented by our President. We have a league bowling team which plays in the Fylde Amateur Bowling Association.

What does it cost?

The annual subscription for all members living within 25 miles is now only £100 or £9 per month if paid by standing order. Country Members (i.e. those living more than 25 miles away pay just £25 annually). Membership therefore costs less than £2 per week and this can soon be recouped by savings available on drinks and by playing bowls and snooker rather than elsewhere. On top of this who can put a price on the ambience of the Club which you will not fail to appreciate and which is not found in most other clubs.
