the Wyre Boat Angling Club is dedicated
to small boat sea angling. Members beach
launch their boats to fish off the Fylde
Coast and Morecambe Bay, where the species
caught include Cod, Bass, Dabs, Plaice,
Tope, Whiting, Thornback Ray and Conger Eel.
The club organise and host the UK Small
Boat Open Championship, the premier small
boat angling competition in the UK, with
a first prize worth in excess of £10,000 |
